I am fortunate to live in a beautiful part of the world, so I have tried particularly with my award- winning pastels to demonstrate my love of Foxground- a specially beautiful place which sums up this fragile planet which we all inhabit, which we sometimes take for granted, yet which sustains us all.

People often tell me that they are surprised and amazed at the variety and stretch of my work, covering so many different approaches and styles. I am constantly wanting to try new things and so, for me, there is no particular way of working.

A feeling of calm and serenity is often there but also a strength and sense of fun.

I believe that art is to be enjoyed for whatever personal reason or set of perceptions and I hope my work brings pleasure to those who see and also to those who own it.
